SOLD
1999 4Runner 3rd Gen, with 4WD, rear E-locker
239,500 Miles
Automatic
Imperial Jade Metallic
I’ve owned this truck since September 2016, I am the 2nd owner, purchased from a dealer who got it off the 1st owner.
I’ve put a large amount of maintenance, and lots of preventative maintenance to make this truck very reliable. I purchased it because it had a clean frame (some surface rust on bolts and such), and came with the rear E-locking differential.
Anytime I noticed a slight issue or odd noise, I would replace and/or upgrade the offending part. Mind you the truck is 20 years old at this point, and does have some small things here and there that are not perfect, but this thing drives better than most 3rd gen 4runners.
There are a large of items that have been replaced on this truck, and i’ve documented everything very well, please see the google drive link for my maintenance sheet as well as for copies of receipts of all parts i’ve put on the truck. Nearly all parts are replaced with OEM Toyota parts, with some exceptions for upgrades or other quality aftermarket parts.

The list goes on and on as well, majority of work was done by me since I typically don’t trust many mechanics. Nearly all bolts that were removed, were cleaned and had a dab of anti-seize coating put on them. All windows work perfectly, no leaks of any kind, no dashboard lights are on. Comes with Dash Cam installed.
The BAD:
Rear heater fan makes some noise, I don't ever use it so it never bothered me enough
Some faded paint on the outer fender protectors
Shocks are not as tight as they could be (not leaking though)
Missing driver side power seat button cover
Rear cargo carpet has 1’x1’ section that was cut out due to damage to carpet
Reason for selling is that I’ve purchased a newer 4runner and dont need 2 trucks. Come check out this truck before making offers, I am willing to do video walkarounds, startups for out of state buyers.
Asking $6,000. Dropped from $8500 originally.
