FS: 1997 3rd Gen w/ 2" Lift ARB 33s Rack HIDs Great Intrior ONLY 160K $9400 obo SoCal

For sale is very good condition 1997 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4. This car can do everything!

Listed on Craigslist HERE:
OVERLAND Toyota 4Runner 4x4 - Lift ARB A/TX Tires - ONLY 160K!!! - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale

I bought this car 3 months ago from a college girl that only drove it on the street. I bought it to reminisce in my old nineties era and then resell it. No off roading! Her parents put $5K into the car recently and did all the repairs typical of this mileage. Most all repairs used factory parts. Motors on these cars run to 250K or more and this one most likely will. Cold start is amazing, revs super happily and no a sound or squeaks anywhere plus $2K preventive maintenance recently done. Motor is in excellent shape, listen to the motor here: YouTube

-Automatic transmission
-4x4, 4 High & 4 Low shift very cleanly (best shifting out of 6 cars I test drove)
-AC works well
-Factory electric sunroof
-New Brakes all around are amazingly strong and ABS is in perfect order (possible Tundra brake upgrade, not sure)
-Power locks power antenna power brakes
-Electric rear vertical window
-Flawless interior
-All engine accessories replaced
-All suspension replaced
-Near new tires
-Body is very straight
-Paint in pretty good shape, normal cosmetic scuffs and chips for 1997

Upgrades:
-ARB Bumper with Winch (with both wired & wireless remotes)
-Full Length Roof Rack
-Classic Nostalgic Round Rack Lights HID (fairly powerful)
-Near new 285/75/16 tires
-Factory wheels painted black (some small wear)
-Bilstein shocks (rear 5100s)
-Rear Springs (updated stiffer factory)
-2" Suspension/Shock Lift Front & Back
-MagnaFlow Exhaust
-WeatherTech floor matts (front, rear and trunk)
-Needs new radio, current one may work if looked into
-1000 watt amp and capacitor

Only issue are the two of the door panels need to be better adjusted to mount to door. They are completely fine as is and not noticeable. But to be perfect an upholstery shop can fix.

Low mile cars like these are starting to get rare and have 20x more parts and mods available than any other 90s car. Checkout Yodamaster.com for options. At about 150K miles most 4Runners needs engine work (timing chain, water pump, radiator, alternator, suspension and bushing work etc.) however everything has been replaced and double checked. I would trust this car to drive across the country.

Price is pretty firm.

I think everyone has memories of a college car. Although my eldest son is more interested in Real Edubirdie Review for Students | Whether to trust Edubirdie in 2019? than this whole topic with vehicles. So the conversations in the house of someone about Toyota and someone about the edubirdie review.
