Pasted from my Denver CL (excuse any CL references)
We have decided to sell easily the single best vehicle we have ever owned because we went electric. This Toyota 4Runner is just a roof top tent away from being a full out expedition Alaska to Argentina rig.
Vehicle basics:
2006 V8 Limited (this means you get all the 110v outlets, aux inputs, great stereo with sub and disc changer, sunroof, etc) the V8 is a fantastic engine - that with the 5 speed auto tranny makes this easily the best drivetrain in any 4Runner. The smaller V6 is ok (my brother has one) but you really miss out on all the low end torque.
121,684 miles
Doesn’t leak or burn a single drop of oil, coolant, fluid, etc.
As you can see, it’s been built up extensively. Modifications include:
Toytec full coilover suspension with Bilsteins in the rear (also has driver FJ Cruiser isolation spacer in the rear)
Light racing adjustable upper control arms
285/70/17 (33’s) Goodyear Duratracs at about 60-70% tread remaining
17x9 Level 8 aluminum wheels (including matching spare stuffed in factory location)
0.5” body lift spacer and fully cut and rewelded body mounts - the 285’s cycle through full articulation lock to lock with no rubbing
Addicted Offroad front plate bumper with 9,500lb xrc winch and synthetic cable ( I still have the factory front bumper if you want a couple MPG’s back)
Stubbs fully welded rock sliders with rear kickout (true rock sliders, not the pretty boy fake step bars the dealerships install - these are even dual sleeved on common impact zones)
RCI full front, mid (transmission), and rear transfer case flat belly skid plates ( I didn’t do the gas tank to make a small attempt to keep weight down)
High clearance side exit exhaust with flowmaster 50 series muffler (nice and quiet, let’s you know it’s a V8 though)
3,500k HID projector lights (best lighting of any vehicle I’ve ever seen)
32” lightbar
Front windows ceramic tinted to match the rear
And I’m sure there is more that I am forgetting.
If this ad is still up, it’s still available, so please don’t ask. Send me a PM and we can exchange phone numbers and talk.
We are asking $16,000 which considering the mileage compared to others here and with all the work done, we feel is a very fair price.
Please no help selling or any other nonsense. No trades, we already bought our replacement - however I might consider a partial trade of a WR250R...
