For sale is my 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road. I bought it new in 2017. One owner. Clean title.
Year: 2017
Model: 4Runner
Trim: TRD Off Road
Exterior: Super White
Interior: Black Cloth
Current mileage: ~45,000
Location: Montclair, NJ
Asking price: $30,500 because I want this to go to a 4Runner enthusiast
Reason for sale: I moved to NJ from Boston and am commuting by train now, so I've lost the adventurous weekender lifestyle. I fully intended to keep this 4Runner forever, but financial and lifestyle constraints are impacting the decision.
Mechanical condition: Excellent. I worked remotely and the 45,000 miles came from highway miles: mainly road trips to see family (MA to NJ or MA to IN) and spending weekends doing hiking day trips to NH and VT. This past summer, I drove the 4Runner out to Florida, then to Colorado (bucket list item). This is my second 4Runner and I acknowledge the somewhat lethargic nature of this truck and that's fine. It was never built for speed. I have never abused it and it has never been off-road.
Interior condition: Excellent, aside from a few minor scratches in the cargo area as this 4Runner was an excellent companion while moving from Boston to NJ.
There are no phone mounts or any modifications to the dash. The truck has never been smoked in.
Exterior condition: Very good to excellent. The history is clear and there have been no accidents. I have two door dings that are barely visible. One is on the passenger front door, and the other is by the gas tank lid. I've always parked it far out in shopping centers but somehow still ended up with the "Welcome to New Jersey tax". The wheels have zero curb rash. Tires are in good condition and have been rotated every 7,500-ish miles. I am not sure how long KO2's last as these still look and perform like new, but the tires have been on the 4Runner since about 30,000 miles ago.
I bought this 4Runner new in October of 2017 in Boston. I am the only owner. Total MSRP was slightly under $39,000. Added options/accessories were the cargo cover, all-weather floor mats, and roof rack cross bars. About 10,000 miles after I purchased the truck, I replaced the wheels with OEM Toyota TRD PRO wheels, in matte gray. I felt that the look was a little different and would work as I did not want to remove the TRD Off Road pillar badges. I sourced five BFG KO2 tires in the stock size (265/70/R17) and mounted the fifth tire on the spare wheel, just in case.
I had many plans to modify this truck but I never did, and after two years of ownership I present it as a fully blank canvas, in Super White.
This has always been my dream car, and I have taken care of it. Synthetic oil changes have been performed every 5k miles. I recently replaced the cabin filter and air filter around 3,000 miles ago.
There is no questionable history on this truck. It's been in good hands and has facilitated some great trips, but financial constraints and a change of lifestyle are forcing me to move on. Life is strange sometimes.

This will be the lowest-priced 2017 TRD Off Road in the country, without any questionable history. I am ok with passing on the "savings" to the community. Thanks for your interest.
