Sold it for $7k on CL
I’m selling my 4 wheel drive automatic supercharged V6 1999 4Runner.
It’s got 238,xxx miles, and a clean title.
On craigslist for $8000 but I'll do less for someone on the forums.
It runs great, everything works on it, the moon roof flips up and slides back, rear window rolls down, AC blows cold and heat blows hot. Paint is in great condition, interior is nice and clean, some trim wear and tear from being 20 years old. It shifts smoothly and 4x4 works nicely. I built rear drawers out of nice plywood for added storage and to create a sleeping platform.
The oil was last changed at 237xxx, and I changed the spark plugs at 235000. Timing belt was done at 183xxx by the PO, and has 30k before recommended replaced. The rear axles started leaking at about 225,000, had them taken apart and seals replaced. I replaced the radiator when I got it. Battery is only a few months old, from 8/19.
Upgrades (I’ve got all the stock parts to take it back to stock if you wanted)
-Field monitor
-The Retrofit Source D2S HIDs
-SRQ Fab front grill
-LED rear taillights
-LEDs in the dash and dome lights
-Full length roof rack, with cross bars and removable moonroof section
-Rock sliders
-Gobi ladder with steps and Rotopax
-2014 Trail Edition 4runner wheels with 265/70/17 KO2s
-Sony XAV-AX100 ( Android Auto/ Apple Carplay)
-Tacoma whip antenna
-Custom built rear drawers
-Lots of spare parts
Cons
The KO2s (31.6”) rub on the rock sliders when turning. When I had the stock 265/70/16 (30.6”) on they did not rub at all. I still have the original wheels so you can throw them on, or when you need new tires put smaller tires on the 17s (265/65/17 or 275/60/17 would be perfect)
If you have any questions let me know.
If you’re interested shoot me a message. No, I don't want to sell any parts off the truck.
