I've purchased a Tundra, so my Runner has to go.
1999 Limited with 3.4L V6 auto 4wd
236k
the bad:
has some hail dimples on the hood and roof
front bumper has had a slight adjustment from pushing a camry out of an intersection
surface rust on hitch and some spotty surface rust on the frame. *Nothing substantial on either.
Driver's seat outer, lower bolster is pretty haggard
stains on carpet along outermost edge
abs light is on. Not sure why. Don't really care, so I never looked into it.
no cargo cover. Didn't have one when I got it.
the good:
@209k
-New OE Toyota LBJs
-Bilstein 4600 shocks
-NGK plugs
-all filters & fluids
-rear springs
-Hankook Dynapro ATs 265/75/16
-all dash lights replaced with LEDs
@223k
-front pads
@227k
-uprated, relayed headlight harness
-80/100W headlight bulbs
-trans cooler (bypassed radiator)
-trans cooler filter (Magnefine)
-OME 2906 rear springs (springs at 209k sagged almost immediately and I hate reverse rake)
@235k
-NGK plug wires
-compression test (175-190)
-new stainless catback exhaust.
Truck runs and drives great. It's the perfect base for a proper rig or for a daily driver. I daily'd it for 2 years and never did any offroading. 4wd works. power sunroof and rear window work. Hatch lifts hold the hatch open warm or cold. It's been a great truck and I'll miss it dearly. But I need a proper truck to tow my project car and the Runner wasn't going to get it done.
