4th Gen Toyota 4Runner Custom Overland Build - $26499, Denver

Photos HERE at Craigslist Link.

I have an overland built 2004 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Sport Edition. Is has the strong and reliable 4.7L V8 engine, black on black interior and JBL audio package. Mileage: 133k. Total cost of the build was over $38k. I have a spreadsheet that shows the cost of every individual item + web links. Top of the line parts and professional mechanics were used for this build. This truck is very clean, has been meticulously maintained, runs perfectly, and garage stored. It is far more capable than a TRD Pro, which costs alot more. I do not need to sell this truck, but would be happy to pass it along to another party that can appreciate and use it more than I have had time for.

The VIN # on this truck is JTEBT14R948013928 if you want to run your own report. I recently ran a CARFAX report and I am happy to send it to interested parties. Title is clear, CARFAX looks excellent, no liens or loans.

Aftermarket/Custom Parts (see spreadsheet for details):
• Off the grid solar power system with 100W Renogy solar panel, MPPT controller, 90 Amp hour Trojan AGM deep cycle battery, battery isolator switch, LCD power meter.
• Gobi Stealth Rack + Gobi Ladder + Gobi/ARB awning mounts + Gobi light bar mounts.
• Icon Vehicle Dynamics 0-3.5” Suspension Lift (Stage 1, coilovers up front, springs/shocks in year). Front coilovers have Icon neoprene covers.
• Air Lift bags in rear coil springs (additional support for heavier loads)
• ARB 2000 Pull-out awning
• OPOR Rock Sliders (finish matches bumpers)
• POR 15 extreme durability frame coating (full prep with acid wash, primer, coating)
• Onboard air compressor and 750 watt power inverter
• Rock Smasher Air System - connects to compressor to air up/air down all 4 tires at once. In box, not yet installed.
• Custom built dual slider drawers (battery/solar system behind drawers)
• ARB 50qt fridge on a custom built slider rack (see photos). This fridge has the Danfoss compressor and is so energy/thermally efficient that the 100 watt solar panel is more than enough to charge the battery and run the fridge. Runs for 4 days on a full battery (without solar charging). Has AC and DC plugin options and wiring harnesses.
• Demello Offroad 3 loop front bumper (powder coated) with heavy duty shackles and shackle guards.
• Custom built (by Insain Fabrication) dual swingout rear bumper with tire mount, HiLift jack mount (with jack + lock), dual jerry can holder, recovery treads holder, dual recovery points, hitch receiver, and rear LED lights
• Warn M8000 winch with neoprene cover, wireless remote/receiver, 100’ AmSteel Blue Dyneema synthetic winch, Warn hawse fairlead, and Factor 55 Billet Aluminum Pro Link safety nimble
• K&N air filter + Magnaflow exhaust system.
• Full set of RCI steel skid plates (A-arms, entire belly, gas tank, differential cover), black powdercoat finish
• ScanGuageE digital trip computer
• Crown performance extended stainless brake lines
• Tekonsha P2 trailer brake controller and harness (I never pulled anything, but had ambitions of making a lightweight offroad trailer)
• Rigid Industries LED Fog Lights (in front bumper)
• Toyota TRD wheels (all 5)
• Spidertrax 1.25” wheel spacers (all 5)
• Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac Tires (5) LT285/70/R17 (majority of life left, great condition)
• ARB Tred Recovery Boards
• Toyota push switches for all lighting systems (OEM look)
• High performance LED Projector Headlights

Minor Issues:
-Rear bumper lights stopped working ($20 to replace the NiLights, very easy fix, might even just be a fuse)
-Front/right ABS sensor needs to be replaced. It got bumped when the wheel was off and it’s causing an indicator light on dashboard.
-Battery in one of the tire pressure indicators needs to be replaced (and therefore the tire pressure indicator light is on). Very easy fix at a tire store.
-Pull pin on right side of double swingout rear bumper needs to be put back on
-I have yet to mount the air manifold for the air bags and Rock Smasher air system. This isn’t an issue, just an incomplete item. I was planning on having a custom mount plate built to keep all air related connection points together (still think this is a good idea). Just didn’t find the time for it. Easy to do once you decide where you want it mounted. I have the instructions.

Looks great! I wish I had bought yours instead of mine. Setup is very very similar to how I want mine setup. Best of luck
