Finally letting go of my beloved 3rd gen. Asking $7700, I'm in Indianapolis.
1996 Limited. Auto, V6, 4WD, e-locked. Just rolling over 153k, I’ve owned it since 2013 and 99k miles. It had been ziebart wax undercoated when new and then not seen a winter from 2000-2012, and only very limited winter use since then, always thoroughly washed, Fluid Film including inside of the frame rails every fall. As rust free as it gets for the Midwest. T-belt done at 99k when I bought it along with a bunch of other wear and tear items. LBJs replaced preemptively at 135k with OEM parts. polyurethane steering rack bushings, new follower, lower control arm bushings. Brakes are Tundra 199mms with Advics pads. Rear axle seals done, Brembo drums and new shoes. I put new General Grabber AT2 tires on at 144k on OE five spoke wheels, the truck also got full synthetic fluids in the diffs at that time. All u joints, slip yoke, and Moog LC bushings greased on time. Trans cooler, diff breather extended. Some driver seat wear, power antenna is inop.(never got around to Tacoma whip mod). Rides and drives great down the highway, wheels are well balanced, hot heat, cold AC, no notable noises/smells/shakes/etc. Original split-spoke alloy wheels with half-worn General Grabber HTS tires come with it, as do stock running boards. Just moving on to a newer crew cab truck finally that better fits our growing family.
