FS: 2004 Toyota 4runner Sport Edition Long Travel Front and Rear - Sf Bay - $16500

Sad day but selling my 2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition that is fully built for prerunning and overlanding. It has a clean CA title in my name, ready to be transferred to a new owner. I built this truck myself over the last eight years to be a do it all vehicle for camping, wheeling, and daily driving, and has never left me stranded. This truck is equally as ready to blast the dunes in Pismo as it is to crawl through the Rubicon Trail and take you to work on Monday. Too much work has been done to list it all, but the highlights are given below.

Front Suspension:
- Custom +4.5" (each side) long travel kit with extended chromoly axle shafts
- 8" Remote reservoir Sway-a-way coilovers with 600 lb/in springs
- Fox 2.0 2" Adjustable height hydraulic bumpstops
- Heim joint upper control arms for allignment
- Kartek limit straps
- 14.5" of travel bumped and strapped
- Regeared front diff with Yukon 4.88 gears

Rear Suspnsion:
- Custom 3 link setup with panhard bar
- 12" King custom remote reservoir shocks (short body)
- Shock towers frenched into frame
- 1.25" Heims on all link pivots, with 0.25" wall thickness links
- Custom link tabs on both frame and axle
- Kartek limit straps
- 13" of vertical travel
- Regeared and locked axle with 4.88" Yukon gears
- Metaltech long travel springs

Wheels and Tires:
- KMC Robby Gordon 2 real beadlocks in raw aluminum 17x8.5 0 offset
- 35x12.50r17 Nitto Terra Grapplers with 80% tread

Misc.
- Custom roof rack using extruded aluminum crossbars
- Rear ARB air locker
- ARB Twin compressor
- Mastercraft Pro 4 suspension seats with heated seats built in
- Fiberwerx front fenders
- Pioneer double din headunit with aftermarket speakers and amplifier under the driver seat
- 20% Tint on front windows
- Custom tube front and rear bumpers
- Smittybuilt 9.5k winch up front
- Cargo rack / swing out tire carrier (not finished)
- Trail gear rock sliders
- Custom gas tank skid 3/16" steel
- Custom front skid plates 1/4" aluminum
- Headgasket professionally repaired 40k miles ago
- Weathertech floormats front and back
- Lowrance GPS unit with downloadable maps
- (2) 24" lightbars up front, one behind grill
- Custom switch panel for accessories
- Facelifted to 2006+ 4Runner front end, with blackout housing projector headlights and HID bulbs and color matched mesh grill

Cons:
- Airbag light is on due to replacing the seats, but I was told airbags still work
- Body has some dents but is free from major damage (as is expected with a daily driver and offroading rig)
- Hood was repainted and is not perfect
- Small patches of clear coat that has faded over the years

This truck has been my only vehicle for a long time and has served me very well. You will not find another 4th gen 4runner as built or as solid as this one. I have countless hours of work in this truck getting it dialed.

Asking $16500 obo
Serious buyers only please, cash or cashiers check only
Thanks!
Jake

I've always liked your truck.

For the 3 link rear, I'm assuming you just removed the driver's side link, and beefed up/ lengthened the passenger side link and mounted onto the frame? That's what I've been wanting to do in order to move the fuel tank up.

Well thank you. And yep you got it. 32" upper link to the frame and 36" lower links with new tabs all around, stock panhard bar and mounts.
