FS: 3rd GEN Custom Build OBO $11,000, 241k; Denver

Hey all,

Sadly the day has come I am looking to sell my 2001 Runner. I have all service records and take care of this rig with all the heart in the world. I actually was never really planning on selling her but have an opportunity to move to the V8 which I am bittersweet about. I have taken meticulous care of this rig performing any and all maintenance when it's due or sooner, sometimes just doing a fix because I don't want to worry about the possibility of an issue.

Please reference photos, but I selling this as a complete package with complete Rhino Rack XTray system, ARB 2100 awning along with the 2100 Room, Rotopax Fuelpax, Waterport shower and more. I also custom built the storage box in the rear with accordion style flaps that fold forward when you lay the seats down so you can sleep in the rig comfortably. She's my favorite vehicle I have ever owned and like I said, I wasn't planning on selling so all maintenance has been done accordingly. I also built out the Yakima Q Clip and round bar system with a custom mod L-bracket to add front end support to the awning preventing it from bouncing around.

Please reach out with any questions!

I have zero idea about the value of these, nor do i know the value vis-a-vie what you put into it, and what you'll get out.

But, hot damn, that thing is beautiful! Superbly well done, tasteful and well loved.

Someone buy this!

How is the fold out part of your rear platform supported?
Do you have any pictures of how you made legs for it?
Slick design.

Yeah, what he said! As you know this goes mild to wild. But here in CA we are Sceeered of vehicles that have seen that scary white stuff. Seriously, it could be nothing, or it could need a frame replaced.

Hey Quantum, I simply used a dowel and cotter pin setup to support the shelf. I went with 1" dowel rods and measured an average height that would get the shelf level then cut and drilled a little perpendicular hole in the rod inserting the cotter pin while keeping in mind the width of the board so the dowel was flush on the upper portion. I then put load on the shelf and made note of each of the legs marking them 1 - 6 on the tops and sanded each down to the length that would get the shelf level. It worked great and was super stable.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey Boshi,

I also just saw your message to me - I'm sorry, man, the rig sold. Sold pretty quickly actually. Good luck on your quest.
