2015 Toyota 4Runner, Trail Edition
Located in Phoenix, AZ
The trail edition includes crawl control, and a factory rear electric locker. The only factory options were KDSS and Navigation which this truck has. This was my wife's car and we are the second owners since 40k.
Truck is setup for off-road use and was used a lot in the Arizona backcountry. As such there is lots of Arizona pinstriping (no dents or body damage). Wheels do have various scuff marks. If you are looking for a cosmetically perfect truck this one is not for you. If you are looking for a truck built for off-road use read on.
Interior is 8/10, black cloth seats. No issues of note in the front. In the rear are the typical wear from hauling stuff off-road. Seats are clean and in excellent shape along with the carpets. Heavy duty floormats are about 2 years old and the rear does have a rubber cargo tray along with a custom storage solution detailed below.
Exterior is 7/10 as mentioned there is pinstriping from wheeling but no dents. New windshield at the end of last year. AZ car so no rust to speak of and windows are tinted.
Mechanical 9/10 Maintenance up to date and no known issues. Have a spreadsheet with dates and mileages for the new owner so they know the history.
Modifications
Toytec 3" lift w/ Old Man EMU BP-51 Bypass Shocks (research these, IMO the best adjustable shock on the market for heavy vehicles and well worth the $2500 price). Shocks are externally adjustable for both compression AND rebound via a rotating collar to allow you to tune it to your preference.
TRD Wheels with 295/70R18 Cooper SST Pro Mud Terrains (75% tread). These are essentially the biggest tire you can get on a 4runner before you have to do serious modifications. The front plastics and front body mounts have been modified to clear the tires. I rotate all 5 tires every 3k miles to keep the wear even and to cycle the spare into the rotation. There are no plugs in any of the tires. Wheel spacers are from the previous owner, I left them on for a wider stance.
Viair hard mount onboard compressor wired to a switch in the dash. The compressor feeds a 3 gallon tank mounted out back where the spare tire used to reside.
Front C4Fab low profile winch bumper w light bar and 9.5k winch sits inside of an updated TRD front grill.
Custom Rear Bumper (started as a Costal Offroad Kit but I rounded every corner) w/ swing out tire carrier, high-lift jack mount, backup lights and rear backup camera.
Cali-Raised 20 degree Rock Sliders w/ kickout to protect the rocker panels and doors.
LFD Offroad Powertrain Skid Plate Set which extend from the front to mid-crossmember.
LED lighting around the underside perimeter of the truck for night running.
Drivetrain is stock with the exception of a cold air intake and pedal commander. I did install a Lexus metal oil filter housing.
Stock head unit has been replaced with an Android head unit allowing for you to run any android app. Just park it within range of your home wifi and log in to add apps. I used it to store/display Backcountry Navigator when off-road. The music app is also capable of playing uncompressed files so if you are an audiophile you will love the setup. The head unit feeds a powered 10" Rockford Fosgate sub and a 200 watt Kenwood amp for the remaining speakers. Door speakers consist of a Kenwood 7" woofer in the front doors, 3" mid in the dash and 1.5" tweeters mounted in custom sail panels in the front doors. Rear door speakers are 6.5" coaxials with custom angled speaker rings to angle them upward (rear hatch speakers are disconnected). When the stereo went in I installed two layers of sound dampening material from the rear seats forward including all the doors plus rear hatch.
Communications are via a hard mounted B-Tech 25 Watt GMRS/HAM/FRS radio with roof mounted magnetic antenna. I have the factory roof rails but bought the roof rail delete kit because I prefered the cleaner look without the rails.
The rear storage area has molle panels over the rear windows, cargo tie down tracks along the floor and a custom shelf to double the storage space. See thread here for what that looks like -

Maintenance - Currently up to date. Synthetic oil used every 7.5k miles, tire rotated every 3k. Brake pads and rotors were recently done (Powerstop pads and rotors). I also swapped out the front swaybar bushings a few weeks ago as well as the headlight bulbs to some brighter units. Honestly this truck has been flawless since we bought it and is easily the family favorite vehicle to hop into for the weekend errands. We took care of the truck so it would take care of us when we were far from home.
I am sure I am missing stuff. I did lots of little stuff like the FJ shifter mod, rubber splash guards in the front wheel wells and the 4lo bypass so you can run the locker in 4 high. Will add some interior pics this weekend.
Current mileage is approximately 79K and should not go up much. Title is clean with no accidents or lienholders. Asking 32k. There is a little wiggle room if you don't want the sub, radio gear , high lift or rear storage system.
