I have a 1999 4Runner that I bought about 7 years ago. I've taken good care of it and done a lot of the maintenance myself. Back in October, I had some issues with overheating and coolant loss so I put some money into to have the engine rebuilt. Afterward, I was still having issues, I replaced the thermostat. The problem still consists so I believe there is likely an issue with the block/head.
It has really good features. It has the unique combination of the '99 tall springs, Multi-mode transfer case, and the electronic rear locker. When I first got it, I started this thread to track the history as I worked and played on it.

Now I have kids and don't have the time to put more effort into fixing/replacing the engine, but I think it could be a good project car for someone who does have the time, or even a part-out. I have all of the repair records including the brand and part number of every part or fluid I ever put into it.
I will try to come back and provide some newer, updated pictures, but the pictures in the thread above are pretty much what it still is. The vehicle is located in Plano, TX.
UPDATE [2/21/2021] - The snow and ice in Dallas subsided so I was finally able to get some pictures and videos. I put them in a Google Photos album so you can follow the link and see everything there so I don't have to hassle with uploading them to this page. If you would like to see any other parts or locations or if you need me to provide additional information or answer any questions, please let me know.
