I’m selling my 1998 4Runner Limited 4WD with rear locker - this has been well maintained and is pretty much a turn-key vehicle for a daily driver/adventure rig. Overall, for being 23 years old the truck is in great condition - this vehicle has served me well for the past 2 years, just moving on to the Tacoma platform for my current needs. Asking 8000.00 OBO

Vehicle history:
I bought the vehicle bone stock from a Toyota mechanic in north Georgia - He acquired it from an older gentleman who owned the truck for 18 years in Tennessee. Before I bought the truck it had around 229,xxx miles - a newer engine with only 160k was installed by the Toyota mechanic including the following:
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat
Drive belts
Valve cover gaskets
Rear main seal
Intake gaskets
Oil pan gasket
Maintenance list since I acquired it with 229,xxx
New Denzo spark plugs
B&M transmission cooler
Engine oil: Valvoline full synthetic every 3500mi
Driveline fluids: Full synthetic (just redid it in July)
Done @ 260,xxx
New radiator
OEM steering rack
OEM front axles
OEM lower ball joints
Upgraded steel front brake hoses
Suspension:
At first, I installed the Eibach Pro Truck lift system for the vehicle. However, once I started loading it down with gear/etc the rear end sagged. I kept the front the same, but switched out the rear with the following components:
- OME 890 coils
- OME 60073 rear shocks
Overall, I’m pleased with the ride quality, stance and the ability to carry a ton of weight without sagging at all.
Mods list:
Prinsu full length roof rack
Custom rear cargo drawer/sleep system (single or double) - professional build and install from McKinsey Craft Co in Tucson, AZ
TKO Offroad sliders (local welder in North GA)
265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Ultra Terrain (about 60% tread left)
16” Pro Comp 69 allow wheels
Upgraded to AGM battery, big 3 wiring upgrade, Blue Sea fuse box, military-style terminals
LED interior lights (including dash)
LED exterior lights
Nilight fog lights
Nilight light bar
Nilight rock/puddle lights
Viper keyless entry and alarm
Sony Apple CarPlay/Android Auto touchscreen radio
Husky liner mats front and rear
The bad:
Only thing I can think of after owning it for 2 years and going out to Colorado, Utah, Arizona & Wyoming is the clear coat on the hood and roof. Also, the sunroof doesn’t open anymore - I never worried about it
