Tried listing this locally but figured someone on here might be interested as well. I never thought the day would come, but I rolled my 98' 4Runner after hitting some ice that I've owned since 2017 and its time for me to put it up for sale. Full disclosure for anyone that is interested, the car rolled 3 times down a hill and the body is in rough shape, primarily the roof. The car still runs and drives great though and the engine runs smooth, I pulled the front fenders and the core of the body wasn't damaged in the accident and there doesn't appear to be any frame damage that I can tell. The rear quarter panel also took a hit and appears to be pushed in roughly 1/4" from where it should be as the tailgate doesn't sit flush.
I never planned on selling this truck and just completed an e-locker swap about a month before it rolled which cost around 1.2k and all fluids have been flushed or replaced. I always replaced parts with genuine Toyota parts and oil was changed every 4-5k with Mobile 1 Full Synthetic. I have a folder full of receipts to prove this. I've done my best to get as many pictures as possible of the damage though I can post more if needed. The car has been in the PNW its whole life and has zero frame rust. I am the third owner, the first owner had it for ~160k miles and I bought it with 197k so I assume the second owner put ~30k on it. The car currently has exactly 239,995 miles on it.
This car would make a great rig for wheeling, repairing or using as a parts car. I would love to see it get fixed, and would personally fix it though I am a college student with limited funds and living at my parents house and I don't have the space to continue to store it. Looking to get 3k but will consider reasonable offers.
A couple things too note:
- I pulled the radio and speakers as I will be moving them to my new 4Runner
- Headlights will also be moved to my new truck
- Wheels and tires have been replaced with factory 98' rims with tires that will need to be replaced
- Interior is in good condition though the carpet has a musty smell as the car had some snow in it after being rolled
- Car currently has front fenders, part of the rear bumper and most of the front end removed as I wanted to see if/how badly damaged it was. I still have them and can include with purchase if desired.
- Car currently has a salvage Oregon title
