FS: 2007 4th Gen 4Runner V8 Limited $15,000
Okay, so I’m reluctantly listing my 2007 Silver 4th Gen 4Runner V8 Limited w/ tow option for sale. Currently has 206,479 miles on it. I actually have two 07 Silver Limited V8's. This one was intended for my wife, but she seems to have lost interest in driving it the last several months. It was a “play-toy vehicle for her anyway”. Rav4 is her daily. It now sits more than it gets driven. Anyway, in the few years we've owned it, I’ve done a bunch of work to it. I'll list below. Everything works like it should: 4Lo, cold a/c, etc. the Engine has never been opened up aside from the work needed for timing belt replacement. Exterior paint is in great shape, but has minor scrapes and scratches here and there, but as expected for a 200+k mile vehicle. Looks newer than what it really is! It would definitely make a great start to transforming it into an overlanding vehicle, crawler, or drive as is and enjoy! Clear Missouri title in hand. Asking $15,000. No trades, cash only. Thought I would list here on the Forum first before listing elsewhere…
Interior:
Interior is pretty much stock. Has factory (working) Navigation and JBL sound system. All original. The only things I’ve done inside are add Weather-Tech floor Mats: Front, Rear, and Cargo mats. For those familiar, have also done the Map Light Mod as well as the Fog Light Mod where fog lights can be used on their own without headlights and will also work with High Beams on. All interior bulbs have been converted to LED’s with the exception of the instrument gauge cluster. All of the HVAC bulbs have been replaced as well as the shift indicator and glove box lights with standard replacement bulbs. Shift knob has been replaced as well with a TRD leather-wrapped shift knob. Lastly, I installed remote start kit from 12volt solutions with long range antenna/remotes (comes with 2 remotes). Works great. Single button remotes will remote start it and lock and unlock the doors as well.
Exterior:
Man, where do I start! So, I’ve done a ton of work to the brakes, wheels, tires, and suspension. Also I completed timing belt/water pump replacement. I’ll probably forget some things, but I will list most of what I’ve done below. I have retained all receipts for all parts purchased. I do all the work myself (ASE Certified Tech). Too OCD to allow anyone else to work on my vehicles anyway. All items listed below were installed 6k miles ago when it hit 200k miles.
• Brand new take-off wheels from a 2021 Tacoma. Also has matching spare
• Falken Wildpeak 265/70/17 Tires, including same for the spare
• Spyder Trax wheel spacers. If I remember correctly, they are 1” spacers
• Eibach suspension system that includes Shocks and springs. It actually rides much better than my other 07 4Runner with Bilstien 5100’s on it. I also added 3/4 Cornfed Rear spacers and the Front Eibach shocks are set to the 2nd setting. Don’t recall how many inches that makes it. Overall, the lift is roughly a 2” lift
• PowerStop slotted and drilled rotors, including red powder-coated calipers. New PowerStop Extreme brake pads front and rear, and new Napa parking brake shoes and hardware
• New Brake Hoses front and rear, including extended rear brake hoses to help with extended rear suspension travel
• New rear sway bar from Toyota, bushings, and end links. New bushings and end links for front sway bar. Also brand new upper rear differential suspension arms. New rear and front Toyota suspension bump stops
• New Upper Control Arms (Tuff-Stuff) arms if I remember the name correctly
• Brand new Toyota factory Lower control arms, including all new Toyota hardware/alignment cams doused in anti-seize. Hopefully they won’t seize ever again. Lol
• Brand new Toyota front brake rotor backing plates
• Front new wheel bearings (eBay aftermarket)
• Upgraded front CV Axles from CVJ Axles in Colorado that include the “red” upgraded inner CV boots
• Gas tank straps and new hardware replaced
• Front/Center and Gas Tank skid plates were all blasted and powder-coated Black
• Transmission fluid (Toyota WS fluid) drain and refill. Also drained/refilled front, center, and rear differential fluids with Royal Purple 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Oil. Also replaced all of the drain and refill plugs/gaskets with Toyota parts. New front and rear differential breathers replaced as well
• Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and all idler pulleys replaced. Serpentine belt replaced, as well as New Radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses as well as new heater hoses and oil cooler hoses
• 8 New “MSD” Ignition coils along with new factory replacement spark plugs
• K&N Air Filter and airbox lid mod
• Front Bull Bar w/ 20” LED Light Bar that works independently from headlights
• New front wipers, new rear wiper and new rear wiper arm
• Side window Visors from Vent Visor
• Tinted front windshield (brow or whatever you call it) as well as front windows tinted to match factory on rear windows
• Battery is relatively new. It had already been replaced when I purchased it a few years ago
• New windshield – Safelight replacement
• New Hood/Bug deflector. Toyota part. Not aftermarket
• New under hood insulation liner. Toyota factory replacement.
• New headlight assemblies (eBay aftermarket) with Auxbeam LED low/high beam upgraded bulbs, LED fog light bulbs, and new rear Sylvania LED license plate and running board bulbs
• Probably a few more things to list, but the above is the majority of what has been done
If you are still reading this, you can tell I’ve put a bunch of time and money into it. This 4Runner has been very well maintained for as long as we’ve owned it. Like I said, I am reluctant to sell it, as it is in such great shape with a lot of good things done to it, but since I have two of them, this one isn’t being driven anymore. Also these Limited V8’s are getting harder and harder to find in great shape. Has never been off-roaded, but needs to be! Frame is in good condition. It does have some rusting, not no rotted out holes or anything like that. I did spend a bunch of time cleaning and painting it when all the above work was done though. Really need to see the vehicle in person, so you can appreciate what I’ve done to it. Like I said, interior all original with all the real work done to the underside of the vehicle. Only real downside is that it has the typical light tear in the side of the driver seat like they all do, but it’s not too bad. As for keys, I have two keys as well as the valet key that will go with the vehicle.
Pictures:
Attached are photos I took today, June 4th. I do have several other photos of all the suspension work that was done that I can email directly upon request. Just let me know specifically what you would like to see. Thanks and please ask questions or let me know if you are interested...
