FS: 2003 4Runner V6 Sport w/Lots! ($26,995)

I am switching to a full-size truck camper and it's time to sell my baby!

Located in Seattle, WA, potentially willing to ship on per situation basis.

This 2003 4Runner V6 Sport (w/ 123k miles) has traveled the Washington Access Backcountry Discovery Route, Hells Revenge in MOAB... and also has been my daily driver for the past 10 years. This rig has been built not just to be an off-roader or overlander, but also a comfortable vehicle for everyday use. It's tough and proven and will continue to perform for many years ahead.

(note rear seats are just folded down in that pic to show off the platform fully extended.)

Built by myself, mule expedition outfitters, and XO-Fab, this 4runner can get you and your friends pretty much anywhere, and keep you comfortable while there.

The illuminated roof-top tent is the star of the show (Go Fast Campers) with twin solar panels producing 200 watts of power, available both in tent and in vehicle. Keep your food and drinks cool with the integrated refrigerator (high-end Engel SB30 with sawafuji compressor) and store your gear in the along-side drawer. Run your gear with the 1000 watt pure sin wave inverter. Oh, and that all also works as an interior sleeping platform if you want to sleep extra people not in the tent. You can also attach an included awning tent to the ARB awning to sleep up to 7 people in and around the vehicle (more than you can transport). Electrically this is all managed by a dual battery system that you don't have to think about with intelligent battery management from CTEK.

The 4runner is equipped with brand new ARB OME suspension, a 9,000lb Come-Up winch, and dual ARB air compressor with passthrough (one of my favorite features).

This 4Runner is armored pretty much all the way for rock crawling. You can't miss the ARB winch bumper with dual IPF super rally spotlights and integrated LED floodlights, DRLs, and turn signals. Below the ARB bumper you'll find the bottom of the vehicle smooth and protected with end to end power coated steel armor from Bud Built, both skids and sliders.

The interior is clean and in an incredible condition for the year. The engine is unmodified with the bullet-proof 4.0L V6 1GR-FE.

Maintenance and Repairs
Has been maintained according to 4Runner Manual
Tires Rotated and Oil Changed in the last 1000 Miles (note: oil changes are cake on this thing, easiest of any car I've ever owned because of the fumoto valve and easy to access oil filter.)
Serpentine belt broke around 100,000 miles or so due to a seized pulley. I had the engine pulleys and belt replaced by Toyota Dealership.
One of the engine mounts became loose at the frame. I had XO-Fab do a full inspection and reinforce/weld the area. (this was a pretty costly repair to have it done right!)

Known Issues
Turn Signals Hyper Flash (they're awesome LEDS, but I think they may need a special relay to prevent this happening. Just never got around to adding it).
Was told my shifter is a little loose, possibly needs a new ball detent. Not sure, have been driving it this way for 10 years but something to try out during your test ride.
Paint has pinstriping from forest trails. Likely most will be fixed up with a detail, but definitely not all.
Dash has some cracking as is famous for the 4th gens. Fixable if you want.

A few of my random favorite things about the 4Runner
The battery management system charges both the house and starter batteries. They are always at the perfect voltage without worrying if this isn’t going to be your daily driver.
The air compressor is amazing. Since it's mounted in the engine bay with a passthrough, you never need to pop open a hood or hatch. Just grab your air hose and plug it in into a little port on the bumper.
The fridge and drawer combo in the rear is awesome. Super easy to prep a meal.
The car just tracks well on the road for being an off-roader. I’ve tried multiple suspension configurations and feel like I now have the best balance of long term robustness and comfort. Previously had ICONs which were great but would squeak like crazy after 30k miles.
The leather quality in the interior is surprisingly good for a 2003. No major wear or holes.

I probably forgot some things, but come give it a test drive and check it out! Open to shipping to you based on case by case basis.

(Note my signature is way out of date! Moved to all ARB OME suspension and obviously swapped out the roof rack for the platform tent and upgraded the winch).

Shoot me a private message if interested!
