For sale is my 1999 Toyota 4runner "Highlander" Edition. Tastefully modified and daily driven.
The 4runner is a 1999 “Highlander” edition. This is a one year only configuration. What makes this one especially rare is it has NO SUNROOF and NO REAR HEAT. Factory sport scooped hood color matched bumpers and the smaller SR5 flares. I located this particular vehicle in Virginia and had it shipped here to Ohio. Virginia does not use salt so the frame is In good condition.
The vehicle arrived to me STOCK. The following modifications/upgrades are all less than 6 months old.
INTERIOR:
Dash/gauge cluster bulbs upgraded to LED.

I am sure I’m forgetting other things. When the suspension was out from under the truck, the frame was scuffed and prepped. I sourced the most bad-ass paint I could get my hands on. MASTERCOAT. google it, they use it to paint bridges and railroad cars. It is the only product that I believed would keep this truck protected here in OHIO. But wait there’s more, after mastercoat and their topcoat I applied RP342 MILITARY GRADE COSMOLINE. Yes. You read that right. Unfortunately the weather was closing in, so the middle section of the frame did not get the love-I can’t do all the work for you! The typical problem spots were all massaged and treated.
The paint on the hood was fading so I had it wrapped in Matte Bronze. The clear coat on the exterior door handles is flaking. Cosmetically it’s not perfect, but cleans up good and will make you turn and look back at it.
EDIT: Hood has been wrapped 3M Matte bronze to match the wheels
I have a few parts left that may or may not make it on the truck before sale. They will go with it. They are:
Durobumps front differential bushings.
Sonoran steel front differential drop.
Genuine CV a axle boot kits (current ones are fine but these are in the stash and will go with the vehicle)
Eimkeith rear panhard correction brackets
All 3 rubber drive belts for the engine
Again, I’m sure I’m forgetting things.
Now, you’re asking yourself why would anyone sell such a Rare freshly built beast?!? I've decided to join the masses and am moving into a 3rd gen TACO (Sorry Guys & Gals)
