I know this is an old post but just wanted to say Toyota has taken that decoder off their site. I have used it for over 3 years. Tried to access it recently and it was gone !!!!

Me Too!! so frustrating that they appear to have shut it down completely. I'm 4Runner shopping in all this No Inventory Madness and that was one of my most used tools for checking on New/Used 4Runner equipment.

Hey Toyota, if you're monitoring this forum - bring it back!! Please!

I used it a month ago, then had to register to get build info, now it's defunct offering only service through a dealer. Bullshit.

You can still call a dealer and give them the VIN but I found myself referencing more than one site to look up the package options - door stickers are wildly inaccurate for gearing and wheel/tire sizes without knowing what each package might have replaced from the assembly line run that the sticker represented
