Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and wanted to share a picture of my new 2014 SR5 2WD 4Runner. I wasn't able to find the color combo and options I wanted so I ordered it from a local dealer. I'm sure in a few weeks this combo will be easy to find but i wasn't going to wait.
Super White
2WD
Black Interior
3rd Row (this was the tough one to find)
Upgraded Entune
I immediately drove it to Barney's Wheel in Temecula CA to have a ToyTec 3" lift , 285/70/17 BFG Muds and Method 17" Standards in silver installed.
I couldn't be happier with the look and ride.
Didn't come here to get beat down for tires or wheel choices. Just came to share my ride.

That looks really good! Nothing bad to say about that at all!

Very, Very nice lift. Good choice of wheels and tires. Do you get any rubbing on the body mount with full turn? I have 06 and I have to do the body mount chop mod.

Thank you for the compliments. I know the new front design has some turning away but I liked it the moment I saw it and like it even more now that I lifted it with larger tires.
Rubbing? Yes, I did get a little rubbing on the front drivers side and shaved down the plastic just slightly to fix that (can't even notice). Of course, I think I could have eliminated that issue altogether if a used a slightly different offset (don't recall what offset I ended up with) but that would have put the wheels and tires deeper into the wheel wells and I wanted an aggressive look with the wheels and tires right at the fender wells. I think the look is great and the little trimming I had to do was a small price to pay.
I like the new '14, especially that it doesn't have that chrome strip under the doors or those annoying side step things that just only get in the way. Haha
Do they still put the chrome on the Limited?

why no 4X4?
Good question. My SUV will never see dirt so I opted for the 2WD instead. Though these are great off-road capable vehicles it's just not part of my lifestyle. I like the look but prefer to stay on pavement.
