FJ Wheels and Revos - AND LIFT
LIFT ADDED. SCROLL DOWN A WAYS FOR UPDATED PHOTOS.
Got my FJ Cruiser wheels installed today along with 265/70-17 Revos. The tire pressure monitor sensors were no trouble to transfer to the new wheels. The front end looks like it is sitting low because of the tilt of the driveway.
Angle view...

Same size as stock (17x7.5)
I got five of them off eBay for $350 plus shipping. They're going for about $70-85 each plus shipping on eBay these days (based on a couple weeks of watching every set that was listed).

Are those wheels exactly the same as the factory wheels as far as offset? For some reason, they seem to give your 4Runner a wider stance than stock. If the width is the same, maybe the offset is different?
Anyone have the specs on the FJ wheels?

So I guess essentially then, one could run the black steel wheels from an FJ as a spare set for trail tires (with MT's or AT's on them)? If so, that's great news for me when I pick up my 4Runner in the fall. I was trying to come up with a relatively "inexpensive" solution to that, and that may be it, without having to worry about nicking up or damaging other types of aftermarket wheels, or worse yet, the stock wheels on the trails.... Nice pics by the way...they look like they belong on your 4Runner.

The FJ wheels look good on a 4Runner. It sounds like you got a great deal on them as well. Did you have to mod them at all to fit on the 4Runner?

Both the alloy and the steel FJ wheels have a 15mm offset, as compared to the 30mm offset on the stock wheels.
So, I guess they do sit out further by a half inch...
I'm impressed you guys could see that half inch from the photos, because I hadn't noticed it.

FWIW, an FJ Cruiser is 1.2 inches wider in track than a 4Runner in the front. That is because of the different offset of the wheels (2 x 0.6" per wheel).
However, in the rear, the FJ Cruiser is wider by 1.6 inches. So who can tell us where the extra 0.4 inches comes from?

UPDATED PHOTOS
Just added a Daystar 2.5/1.5 lift.
Ride is definitely firmer. Maybe a bit harsh, but not obnoxious.

The lift definetly compliments the wheels.
