Updated The 4R W/ Cornfed 3/2 & 285/45/22 Dune Grapplers
A few weeks ago I finally got around to having my Cornfed 3/2 spacer lift installed. A big thanks to Jason Burtman for hooking me up with a wicked product! I had PepBoys do the install for a pretty decent price of $230. Well worth it for me as I couldnt get any time to do it myself. I am impressed with their work too and would recommend them to anyone looking to have a lift installed for a decent price. The labor was a remove and replace of the struts and shocks in case anyone wants the info!
Well after I had the lift installed it was off to discount tire to get a set of 285/45/22 Dune Grapplers. These seem to be causing quite a commotion among the masses that they will look like "RICE" for trucks. Well hopefully I can put this myth to bed because I think they look sick! Took the toy hauler out to dumont to test these badboys out off road and I am really impressed with the road noise of the tire on the highway as well as the capabilities off road. Anyways enough talk here are the pictures:
Camped at Dumont
Clean and shiny after the trip

Wow, that is wild. Sweet looking ride. Did you do the grille?
Thanks for the compliment! I did do the grille. I bought one of those APC stainless steel sheets that you can buy and just cut it out. It worked out perfect because the height was just perfect to fit in the lower and upper grille. It makes the front look a lot more uniform I think.

Nice rig. You had the spacers installed at PepBoys? Wow, I'm not sure if would trust these guys. I would love to have the spacers, but i never knew where to get it installed. What would happen if they screw up the X-REAS? Would they cover the replacement?

Yes, the only benefit to bringing it to a shop is, if they do something wrong, they are responsible, not you. The instructions make for no error and everything is bolded that is important.

The instructions are posted somewhere by a member in the offroading section but I cant find the thread unfortunately. If you want an idea of what it would take to DIY then you can check THIS link. Different lift kit but the same process. You will definitely like the height addition a lot more! Better get your letter into the North Pole too
