Actually, I do not even use the double decker cargo system anymore. I find it useless for what I carry around. Like MAC4Runner said, there is no way that will hold 400 lbs. I did not want the double deck cargo. In New Jersey, there is not many sports shipped without it. I looked and the dealer looked and we could not find one. Thanks for the compliments.

In Canada, they only come with the Limited, at least for the 2003 models they did. That's what I remember.

I am thinking of also removing that and my running boards when I have some free time. I have to experiment and see how I like it.

Suggest sliders instead of the running boards. You can get ones that protrude slightly (less than the running boards) giving passengers something to climb up on. That's my plan.

Great idea. I am also thinking of putting on tubes. I like the look of them a lot!

You better believe it gets cold! Some days I would have to wait until the heat actually kicked in full blast because my truck was so cold. I couldn't even touch the steering wheel! But then I get to drive my 4Runner in deep snow when it warms up, so that is a perk!! It is a lot of fun.

You are right about the seats. They are pretty uncomfortable for the back. Maybe it is because I am over 6'. I have never sat in a 4Runner with leather so I can't compare. The leather seats im my parents are a lot more comfortable.
