Dude I'm not gonna make a complaint, like I said I'm just curious, I'm not a nut I was just asking a question and I'm not blowing smoke...sorry if I upset you and I never meant to get into a debate over it. Your lights are cool and I guess if you're busting guys on your own time thats even better.
On a side note......I haven't been to Holy Jim's for a while.....I went up there when I first got my Runner and there was always those damn Santa Margarita private school kids there speeding and messing up there expensive "parent bought" trucks. I used to go there with my Tacoma a lot but when we had those bad rains in 1999-2000 I stopped going as much because I actually saw the road get flooded out and thought it was to dangerous and got tired of cleaning the mud off....

I'm not upset bro, i'm a smartass but i'm always cool. I threw my acency out there once thinking it was a legit person just curious. A month later i pissed this person off over an action i did not agree with. the following day my LT called me in regarding a complaint that was fabricated. Your father and father in law should know this... the homeland security act that was put into action after 9/11 made all officers active on and off duty. Basically we are officers 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If i turn my back to a crime no matter how small it is i would be prosecuted for being negligent and thrown in jail.Being that i work for the State Of California i am permitted off duty to pull traffic, make arrests ect. The laws and policies that County sheriff's and City PD's are obligated to follow do not apply to state agencies. State agencies are government agencies. sorry bro i will not throw my agency out there, but i hope this helps explain things better. As far as holy jim trail, why don't you join us this sunday. Go over to my holy jim thread for time, meet location and list of atendee's

Probably wouldn't be that hard to find the one that has a black 4runner parked at it though lol.

Baja - Looks like we have a go 9 people so far, so this should be fun.
By the way, I was thinking about doing some sliders soon also, is there a reason why you chose demello other than being local?

I like the quality of the demello sliders. they have 4 mounting points to the frame rather then 2 or 3 mounting points like the others i have seen(don't want to give names). Also i like the wrinkled powder coat finish on them makes them kinda slip resistant when you step on them. Only down side is they are welded on, but who cares. If you get hit hard enough to bend them then more then likely your frame is jacked up too. I first saw the demello sliders on Rory's rig when i drove over to his work one dayto check it out. At first i was going to get the Shrock Work sliders, but when i saw the sliders on his rig and checked out how stout they are i was sold on the Demello sliders.
Hopefully we can get over 10 attendee's by sunday.

Just hook up an I-V to yourself so if it gets rough, you can get it into your system without all of that "digesting crap"

Yes they do. I did it cause i had a stalker, crazy jealous ex and to protect my home and wife from pissed off people i arrested or cited. not too many people respect the Police anymore.
Your lucky your father in law is cool.
My mother in law is divorced so i have to take care of myself. probably take my dogs so i have an excuse to go out.

Haha that's weird, I didn't know that you could do that. I don't drink though. Got drunk once, slight alcohol poisoning. Haven't drank since. So I guess it's good that it happened because now i'm the only person my age in Orange County who doesn't drink. Haha.
And hey, at least my 4runner will be safe with me.
