Wow, that is actually pretty sweet. Is there any way you can make them a bit darker?

Word, I see your going to do your roof rack - are you going to take the rails off?
I think I might spray paint my tube steps black as well as they already have tecture.

I actually took the roof rack totally off the car today, took it all apart and painted it with a satin black, since as u also said it is allready textured, and just waiting for them to dry.....I painted my tube steps already the same color and they look awesome as well....

I forgot to ask in the response - how do you take the roof rack off?
Thanks SportRunner!
EDIT: Oh Yea, did you remove the steps (the 2 black steps on each tube) from the tubes themselves or paint everything at once?

Oh easy, all you do is pry off each top peice of each corner of the rack, they pop straight up and off, then there are two torx screws in each corner and lift the rack off....
I also removed the tube steps when I painted them and took the step peices and endcaps off I left the brackets on and just painted around them...
Falls- those are the only size those muds come in that are for the jeep wrangler, and those tires are the jeep version...

OK thanks! I think black tube and roof rack will look good with my color. If only I can convince my parents to let me do the wheels. What paint did you use on the tube steps and rack?
