I think they look better that the chrome ones. Also will like to see Toyota offering a roof rack delete kit with the appropiate covers, etc.
Like what you have done with you T4R.

I'm going to check on the prices but expect them to be quite pricey!I thought they were separate pieces and I could take them apart and have them painted . But ,nope they are sealed. Sucks , because the outer lens only can't be replaced when they get nicked up with rocks or hit something on the trails.

Does the spacer kit effect anything else? any draw backs?

Very few people,if anybody knows about lifting a KDSS TE. Try researching the LX470 forum because they have had it as an option for years. My research did'nt come up with any definitive answers.
My 275/70/17's are 32.15 inches tall and have less then 1/4" from rubbing. The 285's are 32.7 inches tall so probably they will rub on the front plastic inner fender well. But like you say ,tire manufacturers have a little different specs so can't say for sure.Just trimming the plastic a little is all it's going to take probably. That's why I upsized one size and went with 275's but not many choices in 275.
Leveling it out with spacers won't hurt you unless you are going to tow something heavy. Then you will have a nose up rake!I did'nt notice any change in ride quality at all.

E-rated BFG AT KO's....They are probably overkill on a 5000lb vehicle but I like them because they are heavy duty 10 ply and practically indestructable.
I'm running 40psi and they max out at 80 psi. I'm getting a little over 17mpg in mostly city stop and go traffic. And I probably need to mention I'm afflicted with a foot made of solid lead.
First 1000 miles I babied it and got ~ 19mpg . On a 1100 mile highway roadtrip at Christmas ,I aired them up to 45psi, used cruise control at 70 and got actual 21.7mpg. I went 480 miles on a tank and put in 22.1 gallons at the pump.
Oh and by the way the 5G is not porkier, it's pleasingly plumper
