Damn, i woulda kept the Series 2A, i love the paint scheme, and it seems that its in good shape cause the crossmember isn't rusted out. I guess the mosty non syncho-gearbox gotcha?

I don't know if it is just the angle, but the stock 4th gen looks just as tall if not taller in this picture. Since they are different body styles, it can be tough to get a good reference point. You can't look at the tailights because the 4th gens are definitely higher up than the 3rd gens. If you use the rear window glass as a reference, they look pretty even to me.

Yeah,it's at an angle but there's definetly a big diff in clearance underneath since even stock for stock there's a couple inch difference in ground clearance between my year and the '03-'04. Yes,the rear windows line up but the bumpers aren't really close. The bodies of the 4th gens are taller than the 3rd gens so you can't really compare that either.
I've wheeled with stock 4th gens and mine definelty doesn't drag the underneath as often on the trails.
