Haha. I could say the same about Montana or New Zealand. In Texas there is almost no private land and you have to drive a while to get to anywhere fun. We try to make the best of what we have.

Thanks for looking. Glad you are enjoying the thread!

Totally loving all these pics. I dream of being able to take advantage of landscape like that. I am drooling with envy.

These guys have been very active in your area, but have suffered some recent legal setbacks. I'm sure they would appreciate your involvement and support.

The actual trailer, I have about $400 into, but obviously more for the AT multi axis coupler and the wheels. The trailer is only primed at this point, and is a truck bed from a 1940 Chevrolet pickup.
Looks like you had a great time.

In my area their starting to crack down on river crossings. I have heard of people having their 4 wheelers taken by the conservation people. One of the off road parks I go to had to limit the number of crossing and design thing in a manner to have minimal impact.

I think America is finally just cracking down on freedom.

Well, the simple fact is that the damage is being done. Its always the same story, a few people who are uneducated about the impact that they are causing are ruining it for everyone, including the responsible ones.

I encourage everyone to support both Tread Lightly and the Blue Ribbon Coalition. Attend a Tread Lightly class, get involved. Without our support, we will continue to see trail closure after trail closure.

If you are in my area... I am a Tread Lightly Trainer, and would be happy to hold a class. Also, for those attending our Rolling Rally in May, I will be teaching a Tread Lightly class there as well. Please visit our website or contact me for more information.

Let keep these trails open and preserve our land. These concepts do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Great vid's Leary. They really show the diversity in trips CO has to offer. The only problem I see with these is that I'm not in enough of them.

Now that sounds like a problem that we can fix!
