passenger side auto down window

is the passenger auto window switch and lock unit the same in 2000 and 98?
plug and play or no?
heres what im talking about
i want to upgrade my 98 to this

my 98 doesent have the auto down feature on the passenger side and the lock button is flat unlike the one in the picture

i know the '99 (i think it is) drivers side is not compatible with the '98 and older. I tried so I could get the 2 front auto down instead of just the one. I bought it and was not PnP. So I would assume the passenger side is also not PnP.

It doesn't make any sense and is really dumb. Maybe they had to add that one extra wire in for the auto feature and thus changes the wiring harness shape.
