I'm confused... the rules dont make sense then

Yeah, you’re right. You technically had the 72 hour option to photo a local landmark. But you need to describe the landmark and where it’s located.

The game has been dragging lately after the holidays and it seems the few participants have been allowing a lot of leeway with the 72 hour deadline.

We kind of got wrapped around the axel here and out of sync. Let’s do a reset. Because @Jeremy_A issued a good challenge idea and @MeefZah won it he’s entitled to issue the new challenge. But since @aabottom got the atlas obscura challenge and is a relatively new player, how about aabottom issuing the next challenge?

Oh, I see. I didn't realize that was what you were doing. It seemed you just popped in and dropped a challenge and then posted a sample pic of your challenge. Yeah it makes sense now. You really need to explain that though: "hey guys it's been 72 hours, time for a reset, here's a local landmark the Gobbledygook Tunnel. Freed slaves travelled through it in the 1800s. Next up is a photo of...."

Didn’t feel the Jeep thing this time around. It was good for the short time I had it but the 4Runner spoiled me. Now, I’ve got a big pudgy 4Runner.

I bought the Rubicon in September. But here's how my life goes. I down-traded for the Land Cruiser last week and have been driving it. Because of weekend, holiday, etc. we were unable to finalize the $$ until today. Then while I was driving the LC, I discovered there were some things that needed attention so it was in for service this morning. As they got further into it the problems seem to grow. While it would be covered under the warranty, there were some things I was uncomfortable with. I was already paying a little more than I wanted to pay for a "nice, one owner, clean carfax" Cruiser. Since the $$ were not finalized I wanted more concession from the dealer based on new found conditions and how much time they would have to have it, the extent of repairs, etc. They wouldn't budge and my confidence was shaken so I canceled the deal. Now I've got my Jeep back. I may try another Cruiser in a year or so but gonna stick with the Jeep for a while.

If ok with the players, I will play the game with the Jeep. If it bothers anyone or seems to water it down, I understand considering the original intent. Maybe others will step in and try to beat me to the challenge so they don't have to look at it.

You’re a long time player. I’d be glad if you stayed in the game, pushing it forward. I bet you’ll be back in a Toyota truck soon enough.

As little traction as this game gets (which, again, I don't understand since clearly everyone on this forum likes taking pics of their trucks) I sure wouldn't be disallowing players just cause they drive a Jeep!!!!

Ok, I'm still in. It appears the game is presently kind of open as we have no new challenge from @aabottom (first winner) or @MeefZah (runner up). I'm good with either of you guys putting up a challenge ASAP so we don't have to do another 72 hour reset.

@Jermey_A, we didn't mean to run you off and we greatly welcome your participation. This is a simple and entertaining game as long as we all keep the ball rolling.
