Ha! I just realized you meant did I peel it off my last 4Runner. I left that emblem on when I sold it. So I had to buy another one.

I’m a de-badging kind of guy. But I really like that emblem of yours. Classic Landcruiser.
It’s kind of long, isn’t it? Does it lay flat enough on the hatch? It’s so curvy.

I think the emblem is about 4 to 4.5 inches long and it is flat. The way I taped it, I doubled up the double-sided tape on the upper and lower thirds of the emblem to compensate for the slight curve in the sheetmetal. It looks like it's flat against the hatch lid... looks stock.

Finally had the 4Runner out today after a month of playing with the new Wrangler. Went through two tunnels. No place to park in front of either, so here are a few action shots:
Next up: A daytime shot of your vehicle on a deserted stretch of highway that's normally very busy. Like the last challenge, dash shots are allowed.

Now that's a tunnel! What road is that on? I thought I had a pic driving through there but the tunnel I drove through was different.

These tunnels are both on the short stretch of US Highway 6 that runs between I-70 and CO Highway 119 near Idaho Springs (about 20 miles west of the Denver metro area).
That first interior shot kind of reminds me of the images in the report I received for my colonoscopy (other than the pavement).

Ha! Having just gone through that procedure last month I though the same thing. I was going to comment but thought TMI.

As we get older, we tend to talk more openly about assorted bodily functions and various medical procedures. Often over dinner.

Here’s me on CA State Route 85 N on a weekday at 5PM. Normally this northbound direction is packed. And the southbound direction across the median on the other side is a stop-and-go parking lot, from 3:00 until 8:00. All the tech workers heading out of Silicon Valley towards their far away but more affordable houses. To me this is just amazing.
Next Challenge: Your vehicle out somewhere having fun. Anywhere, your choice. Just get out of the house and tell us about it.

I tried to do the empty road challenge yesterday but apparently in Tennessee, we're not very good at "stay at home". Roads looked about normal. However, the governor mandated a new, tighter "stay at home" order yesterday so we will see how it works.

Good shot! It's like that in the Denver area too. Here's a picture that I took of Highway C470 at 7:30am a couple days ago while on my morning stroll up one of the hogbacks west of town. This stretch of C470 is normally a parking lot on weekday mornings.

We had freezing rain yesterday followed by light snow overnight, with temperatures in the teens this morning. So, this morning seemed like an ideal time to get in a hike to a summit that's accessed though a local park we normally don't go to because it's usually very busy. Today was a great day for social distancing as the only other person we saw the whole time was in the parking lot upon our return.
Here's a shot of the lot when we started at 8:00am, and another of the lot upon our return at 12:30pm. My wife's car is in the corner on the right. We took it because the roads were icy, and she has Blizzak winter tires on it. The 4Runner stayed safely at home in the garage.
Let's go back an old favorite challenge: Your vehicle at a place listed in the Altas Obscura.

I made an apocalyptic beer run which was "fun" in this new world we live in. But your pics are much better.
