Damn, I didn't realize the new Bronco was out already!

Maybe it’s just me, but that thing is ugly as hell.

It had Mfg plates on it, so it was probably driven by an executive going on a trip to our feed mill to buy a Carhartt jacket so they can feel all rugged. At first I thought it was one of those baby Land Rovers. It was nothing exciting, that is for sure.

Dexter?
Close enough to Ann Arbor, where the Fords live, to be one of them driving it.

Yeah the smaller "family SUV" ones don't interest me at all, they are ugly. Now a yellow 2 dr with 35s and the off road package... I think that'd be okay.

The challenge was:
Post a picture of your 4Runner with wildlife. Must be alive- no buck poles and the like.
My find:
A train of hen turkeys crossing the road in front of me.
These were the stragglers, there were about 25 more that passed before I could get the phone out and photo snapped.
Next Up:
Your 4Runner at a Halloween decorated house. People go nuts with the elaborate decorations around me: orange lights, moving lighted ghost projections, graveyards, life-size monsters, etc. Let’s see what’s in your neighborhood.

I haven't been playing; I've barely driven my 4R for the past few months. I sold 2 motorcycles and bought 2 motorcycles so I've been playing with them to the exclusion of my poor 4Runner.
This lured me out though.
Next up, your machine with a bit of abandoned railroad history... an old station, overgrown track, old bridge, old rolling stock, etc.

I haven't been playing much either due to farm and work. Gonna try harder.

You mean the front of the 4Runner I assume, it's certainly no beauty queen!

Returning from my recent trip to Yosemite I visited the Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown CA. A very interesting place to walk among vintage steam engines and cars, which were preserved in part due to the movie industry.
Railtown 1897 SHP
From:
Railtown 1897 State Historic Park - Wikipedia
“The entire park preserves the historic core of the original Sierra Railway of California (later reincorporated as the Sierra Railroad). The railway's Jamestown locomotive and rolling stock maintenance facilities are remarkably intact and continue to function much as they have for over 100 years.”
“Since 1929, when The Virginian was filmed with the Sierra No 3, the Sierra Railway properties have been a major resource to the motion picture industry. Over 200 movies, TV shows, and commercials have featured Railtown and its trains.[5] Sierra's tracks, locomotives and cars have long been seen on the silver screen; film credits include Go West with the Marx Brothers, High Noon with Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly, 3:10 To Yuma (1957) featured #3 in the end of the movie, as well as Back to the Future Part III with Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. Television programs that regularly used the Sierra property include Wild, Wild West, Iron Horse, Tales of Wells Fargo, and perhaps most famously, Petticoat Junction.[6] The Sierra No. 3 locomotive and Sierra's coach number 5 were the Hooterville Cannonball.[7][8] Locomotive No. 3 was also used in numerous episodes of Little House on the Prairie.”

Also on that trip I travelled along Wards Ferry Road between Groveland and Jamestown. This is a road
@ MeefZah
would enjoy on his bike. It’s a scenic 16 mile single lane road with a steep canyon descent through a set of one-lane switchbacks on both sides of the canyon. With no turnouts you have to keep track of each slightly wider area in case you have to back up if you meet another vehicle. I had to do that once to let a small car barely pass me. It’s a nerve wracking and exciting drive.
The road crosses the Tuolumne River at the Wards Ferry Bridge, also known as “Graffiti Bridge”; it’s entirely covered. Worth a stop to relax and enjoy the “artwork”.

NEXT CHALLENGE:
Your 4Runner with some interesting graffiti.
