Here’s one I just found. believed to be a 1973 Jeep Commando.
Nice murals! I have a specific Jeep in mind for this challenge and I'm heading up that way tomorrow to look at a house. So nobody else jump on this one.

I’m pretty sure if we were to dig in certain areas of the refinery, we’d dig up an old Jeep. We’ve done it before although there wasn’t a whole lot left of it.

Just messing with you. I can see you're fairly new. Welcome to the game if you want to participate. Basically, it's a time waster and gives us pics of 4Runners (sometime other vehicles) meeting challenges. The current challenge is your 4Runner next to an old Jeep, and a less common model if possible. If you're the first to go get a pic that was taken AFTER the challenge was issued (can't use old photos), then you can issue a challenge of your own. So if you dig up an old Jeep, put the Runner beside it and take a pic.

It's been a few days (WTH, sebby????) and this doesn't explicitly meet the criteria since it's not super old and I have to think this isn't original condition... but it does meet the "strange" criteria.

Electroboy, will this do? If so then the next challenge is

your machine with a wagon wheel used as decoration
- stuffed in a flower bed at the end of a driveway, hung on a wall, painted on a mural, as a chandelier (you'd have to be creative to get your truck in that picture)... etc...

Closer look

I did get mildly excited seeing this, thought at first it was an old Jeep... but after I uploaded it I did a Google search for similar images and I now think it is actually a 50s Dodge M37.

Wow. What a strange looking vehicle. Makes me wonder WTF that would that be used for. Good catch. You’ve meet and exceeded the criteria.
Proceed with the next challenge.

I think that's a fantastic Jeep! There's a guy here locally that has a 6-wheel JK Jeep. This was the one I was going for. It's normally parked in the same place everyday, but the day I went to get the challenge pic, it wasn't there. Here it is with my former Rubicon. I know the Rubi was likely to disintegrate at any minute but, %#^$ it looked awesome. Not getting rid of the 4R though.

That thing looks scary. Trying to see the six wheels though.

Sorry, that's not a JK. JK is the previous generation Wrangler to my JL Wrangler in the pic. There is a local guy that has a 6-wheel JK Wrangler. The truck is a SJ Gladiator. It only has 4 wheels but it is badass. Sometimes people refer to the Gladiator, Cherokee Chief, and the Grand Wagoneer as FSJ models (full size Jeeps). My old '91 Grand Wagoneer below was my favorite Jeep, the one I wish I had kept, and the reason I like the 4Runner so much.

I’m gonna snag this one.
The Old Wagon Saloon and Grill in downtown San Jose.
Kind of a cheesy dime-a-dozen western bar. I guess the food is good but it’s so 1980.
I had to stop in the middle of the street with no parking to snap this quickly. Luckily not much traffic during the shutdown.

Next challenge:
Keeping the western theme, your truck and a horse in the picture. Live, dead, stuffed, plastic, statue, painting, billboard, sign, whatever.

That is the one and only thing I enjoyed during this mess. I could go for a drive with literally no one on the roads. Now, it's just like nothing ever happened other than I still can't go in somewhere and enjoy good wings and a beer. That happens next week though.

Here you go. I took a detour on my way to the hills this morning to get this picture.

The diner is in the Atlas Obscura. Classic greasy spoon!

Next challenge - Same as before, but let's do it with a cow this time.

That's funny. Next to the vet where I take my dog is a business that had a large fake animal out front though I could not remember if it was a horse or a cow. As I drove by yesterday, I confirmed it was a steer and not the formerly desired horse. Guess I will have to go back there now.

I'm having a bad day for photo challenges, I got "bruced" in my motorcycle game too

At least I can take comfort knowing I have a better picture!

I got several of the last challenges all in one pic! Cow (fake), horses (real), wagon wheels...

Close up of the masked cow

.

.

Next challenge, your machine with a street sign named for a bird or other flying creature - for example: Jay Lane, Pigeon Point Rd, Robin Court, etc...

.
