Ung.

I lost my sense of smell today and sense of taste seems to be going as well. That is kind of weird. Two of my favorite pastimes are commenting on the nuances & flavors of fine craft beers and grilling/bbq... looks like those things will be put on hold for a while. Fortunately, in my readings on the topic, losing those senses may indicate a milder ride and shorter recovery time. I'll take it. Other than stuff like that, I feel as good as I normally do.

Look on the bright side, now you can drink Natty Light and pretend it's a fine brew. #savingmoneywiththevid

So I tried this just now. It tasted a bit like soda water with some kind of slight bitterness. Definitely did not taste like beer. Hell, I might even be able to drink water now. 4Runner photo game

By the way, I'm not anywhere near that old.

Next up - I just saw an article saying the 4Runner will remain essentially the same for 2021. So, your vehicle (4Runner preferred) alongside another long-running Jurassic vehicle that has some character, such as a 140 or 240 series Volvo (the square shoe box style), an original style VW Beetle, a Crown Victoria (should be easy for you, MeefZah), a Model T, etc. To make it harder, pickups don't count, since they tend to stay the same for a long time.
Here’s a diesel Mercedes 240D. Not sure of the year, but they were produced between 1968-1976. Still looking damn good. If it was mine I wouldn’t park in on the street.

Where I grew up out in the country, our mail was delivered by a rural mail carrier. They didn't drive the postal Jeeps but got a car allowance. Anyway, he had a pale blue 240D and delivered mail in it from the time I was in 2nd grade until I went to college.

What a trooper. Those early ones had something like 65 HP!

In the 1980's a coworker had the next generation 240D (W123 series made between late 1975 and 1986). Slowest car I've ever ridden in. His biggest thrill was flooring it and watching the huge cloud of black smoke belching out. We called it "The Sooter".

I had a 1984 Volvo 242 at the time, and (as slow as it was) it could run circles around his Mercedes.

"Cloudy and Drinkable". Really makes me want one of those!

Reminds me of the old Bill Murray Saturday Night Live commercial for Swill Bottled Water:

"As a salesman, I do a lot of traveling. And when it comes to lunch, I grab what I can, usually on the run. And when I want mineral water, I keep it simple, and I keep it domestic. I drink Swill. The water that’s dredged from Lake Erie."

Next Challenge: Your 4Runner next to a Buell motorcycle. I've owned a handful of Buell's in the past, but not anymore. Rarely see those bikes anymore. May be a difficult challenge unless someone on here has one.

I wonder how those martinis are served? One time, I ordered one like Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, only half memorized with cheat notes. The lady tending bar, laughed her butt off but did her best. It was awful.

So you ordered a “Vesper”? One of the original ingredients is no longer available: Kina Lillet. No wonder is tasted bad, she probably substituted Mountain Dew.

She might've used lantern fuel for all I know. But I think she did have something with Lillet in the name. It was at a pretty swanky place in downtown Chicago.
