These things aren't made by the order, are they? Sounds like another drop shipper excuse along with all the other ones (backorders, etc)

I don't usually post in threads like this because they have a tendency to backfire, but what the hell...

Previously I've had good customer service from Jason's company. I've bought multiple items over the years with consistently quick turnaround on orders and good communication, but not this year. I purchased a set of PIAA wipers in May and haven't received them. I received a note a few days after the order stating that they were on back-order and would ship as soon as they were in stock, but no replies to emails since May.

It's a damn shame as it's difficult to build a good reputation and pretty easy to ruin one. I've initiated a paypal resolution (good luck with that one...), but I won't shop at his site again.

I recognized his overpricing years ago and it is a shame but I think his overpricing and bad customer service ruined what he had going but when he was trying to justify his $80 clear corners vs the ebay corners AND signals I got from ebay for $40 shipped and were the same things he was selling I had a hard time watching people buy his stuff.

Too bad since he ruined his (faux?) name.

Wanted to give an update. I arrived home from work today to find my exhaust on the front porch, so good on him for getting me what I ordered.

I will say the lack of any communication was disturbing, and I started the chargeback process this am so now I need to go back and halt it. With one email he could of put my fears to ease and all would of been good, but he just doesn't seem to respond at all.

I doubt I will order from him again due to this, but he did get me my product so I am pretty content right this second.

The clear lenses' prices are ridiculous!

3 days ago i get a tracking number emailed to me saying it was going to be delivered today, the 7th, and what do you know? the package finally came.

i dont care what his excuse is, it did suck that it took so long and i had to nag him but im just glad its here.

Sent him an email to see if he had Gibson exhaust in stock. Never heard back. Found it cheaper on autopartswarehouse.com on Monday, got here yesterday.

Petition to remove Burtman Industries from our Vendors list? Maybe even sticky this thread for future buyers?

We don't need any more 4R people to be scammed by this douchebag. Enough is enough. Worst work ethic I've ever seen from someone who "runs a business."

Man, he spent DAYS trying to convince me to buy those chrome China bulbs for way too much money, telling me about how much better they are than other brands, etc... I never really cared until seeing this thread.

Glad I didn't buy them, he'd have disappeared off the face of the earth next day and I'd have been out $30.

Same bulbs on eBay, $5 shipped lol!

I see everyones way ahead of me as usual here but want to thank all you guys for the heads up on Burtman. All though some are nice but' It looks like he carries very few items for 4runners anyway so I'll pass on it all after reading around some.

Anyway' as I said only a few aftermarket items?
For whatever reason like most other aftermarket companies there are very few products out there for my 07 4runner? I would have thought the SUV craze would have sparked parts galore for them all or is Toyota just banned in the aftermarket life for whatever reason?

So I didn't do any research before ordering and I have been stung for the same crap.

I ordered some Piaa Super Star headlight bulbs as I thought he had good prices. And I have not received anything other than a confirmation email. I have tried numerous times to contact them with no response.

Alas its too late to file a paypal complaint so I am stuck with this shitbag stealing my money.

Ordered a Gibson exhaust from him a week and a half ago. I'm having a heck of a time getting any info out of him. I guess I'll give him a few more days before I file a dispute with PayPal.

Yeah don't order from this guy, coming from experience. Sucks we have people that do this...
