Survival Gear -
What do you guys carry in your 4runner? You know, just in case.
I have a:
1. 28" Gerber Machette / Survival
2. LifeStraw Emergency Water - 260 Gallons
3. Magnifying Glass / Flint
4. Compass
5. Batteryless LED Flashlight
Thinking about some jarred honey, because it never expires.

i will be building a cargo box very soon, in it i will carry a lot of survival/recovery/camping/first aid/tools/etc gear. i have a 10/22 with an archangel stock on it, and thats been ridin in the back recently. right now im tryin to sell the 10/22 and upgrade to either a Mossberg 590a1 or a Remington 870 tactical. that will then become the new truck/home defense gun!

i like it its perfect for my needs, its light, easy and fast to load, pretty rugged and the best part, they have tons of accessories for it to make it your own.
i have 1 action packer and 2 tool boxes in my truck. i also have a 1st gen 4runner roll bar for all my tools like hatches, hi lift and shovel. most small items either go in my glove box, center console or the 2 pockets on the back of the front seats. guns usually go on the floor in the back and covered up with the back seats folded down. i usually roll by my self or have 1 person with me at most. so the back seats are really a truck bed most of the time.

Fiocchi 00 Buckshot and Remington #7 steel dove shots from big 5 down the street. i want to get a Remington 770 later on, the little 22 is more like a water gun now, but the bullets are cheap as dirt.

Stay with the 5.56 theme, but make it VERY light. I think this is right at 6 pounds: Del-Ton, Inc. AR-15 16" Mid-Length Light weight Rifle Kit
People start adding a quad rail, optics, and other fancy crap. That's how an M4 gets heavy.
