Reliable Toyota Mechanics - Denver

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice/suggestions. I have a 1997 4Runner Limited and am hoping to find suggestions for a good, honest, reliable mechanic in Denver. I am wanting to keep the 4Runner but I know it needs certain items done (timing belt replacement, likely water pump replacement, back brakes, etc). I am trying to find someone that could not only take care of what needs to be done but also help me to figure out if there is anything else major that needs to be done and if it is worth doing the work or to sell it.

Thank you so much for any help you might be able to give!

The question is how much do you want to pay?

You could take it to Sleeoffroad.com - Toyota SUV Off-Road Outfitters they seem to mainly focus on land cruisers, but they would certainly know how to handle your 4runner. However slee offroad are experts and highly sought after, so I'm sure they would have justifiably high hourly rates and probably a long waiting list to get in.

The items you are describing (timing belt, back brakes) should be able to be handled by any competent mechanic and doesn't require a toyota specialist. If you do not want to pay for slee level of expertise I would ask friends, family and coworkers for mechanic recommendations.
