Texas - city of Frisco near Dallas
Lots of extraction gear, and lots of extraction experience (mostly rescue of FJ Cruisers driven by over-confident fellars). Tools, some mechanical know-how, and Yota buddies who reside nearby.

Add me to the list please
Nashville, TN area during most weekends and holidays; Cookeville, TN during the week/ when school is in session; I have lots of tools, fairly good mechanical knowledge (no formal training, but I've been working on Toyotas for 8+ years), jumper cables, straps, and boards of wood with me at all times.

Been snow bound for over a month!
Not sure anyone will realy do this. I have been stuck here for over a month. Road is plowed within two miles of me. I have a stock 97' FZJ80 with 265/75/16. And great Norseman chains on all fours. Could only go about 500 yards, after digging for 5 hours! That was a week ago as I was trying to get out! This week I Might even be able to make it out, but not back up hill and home. Anyone think they can do it? Maybe with 35"+ tires and lockers front and rear with chains! I had a snowmobile that I burned up a new motor, that was my backup. Missing Super bowl! Come see if you can do it! I'm here by Chelan, WA. Come play in the snow!

If my runner was running right I'd attempt it... But right now my rig has a plugged cat and the rear bushings are toast. Best of luck

Thanks, good chance I will be here! People seem to want a place to play and challenge their four-wheel-drive trucks and SUVs. Lots of places here to do that. Come check it out!

I need help guys, I have (2) 3rd gen 4runners help me decide which one to keep and which one to sell.
The first one is a 1998 limited 4wd with factory locking rear differential the timing belt has not been changed on it, it has 190k miles. Interiors great outside has a few small dings and dents nothing major. It has mild rust on the undercarriage. (Iowa truck)
The second one I have is a 1999 sr5 four wheel drive, the body is clean the interior is good it also has 190k miles there is no locking rear differential on this one the timing belt was replaced on this one 15k miles ago. No rust (Hollywood california car)
I have been driving the 99 around in the mountains and the roads for 6 mo, i know its a solid truck as opposed to the 98 i just got last week, it to appears to be a solid truck. Besides the rust.
I plan to build this truck up and not sure which one to go with.
I'm new to this forum but I am a toyota enthusiasts, I have owned 13 Toyotas and ALL of them ran great when I sold them. I own 4 right now.
Please give me some advice on which one to keep and which one to sell
I'm not sure how to post pictures on this site it's asking me for a "URL"
