Lubbock, TX. You're probably not wheeling around here but I have the gear and the time and energy to help anyone broken down within the county.

I might as well add my name since I don't see no one from Hawaii yet.

Kapolei, HI

I'm still a 100% stock TRD OR so I can't get you out of a major shit hole not like there is much here. All I have is a strap right now and I'll admit not really experienced in recovery but help is help right? Upgrades coming soon I'll update them as they come in.

I do have access to Kaena for 2019 already if you get stuck there.

My 04 4runner has recently started making a knocking sound from the engine and I have got it checked from couple of mechanics but they donít want to even touch it and telling me that this is a rod knock by just listening to the noise and telling me that I need a new engine. Since I am a student I cannot afford to get the engine replaced. I have searched so much and no body ever had a rod knock in their 4runner because the engines are built so strong and reliable and my truck only has 133k miles on it. I wanted to see if anybody have had this kind of issue or can provide me with any tips related to this will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Also i have posted the link to the video clip of the noise

Wanted to state that I'm not longer in Missouri, and now in Oregon. List hasn't been updated in years!

Lost ALL power during rain storm!

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and am hoping to get some insight on this issue. I drive a 2000 4runner sr5. Today I was driving uphill in heavy rain and lost power in my engine. My transmission wouldn't rev past 2000 and I couldn't get past 10mph no matter how hard I pressed the pedal. On the rest of my drive home I had limited power, but the transmission would rev up every now and then. I drove again a few hours later and had no issues. My transmission was rebuilt a year or 2 ago so I'm hoping that's no the issue. I read a few forums that said there could be air intake issues with the heavy rain. Not sure if I should treat this as a serious problem or not. any help would be appreciated!
