Led light bar problems!
I got my 24 inch led bar in just last week from eBay. After not only sending a white light bar that was supposed to be black, the bar that I just installed is only running about half of the led bulbs. My question is has anyone else had a similar problem? Is it a series circuit possibly with 2 circuits in the bar? Any help is appreciated
On a seperate note, even with only half of the lights running, these things can throw some light!

Ebay...the most trusted site lol. Who is the manufacturer of the light bar? I would start by calling them.

True, but a grand for an led bar is a little steep, besides I bought from a big eBay store

Agreed. Rigid LEDs are a total rip off, it's like $20 of LEDs in an aluminum housing.
I haven't had any issue with my light bars, I have two 30" bars from Cree off of Ebay ($180 each) and a 20" Tuff LED bar from Amazon ($160). You could try to take it apart, my guess is that one or more connections had a bad solder or something.

No need, I contacted the eBay store and they are shipping out a new one over night. It still flusters me that this is the third one that I'm getting from them, but at least they're making it right

I actually got a refund from the original seller and bought from sclights on eBay, the lights are bright and the price is great, I got a 24" double row, a 21" single row and rock lights and they are all holding up great. Whatever you do, do not buy anything from temeculawholesale

With the rigid's you're paying for the optics. All the light bars might be using the same LEDs, but if you don't have the right optics it doesn't really matter. The Rigid's are far brighter than any of the cheap knock off Chinese versions. Is it worth the extra money?... Well that's up to the buyer.
Glad the eBay seller is helping you out OP!

for the price of one rigid 40", you can literally get 4 ebay bars. Probably more.
Bar only, NO headlights or anything else. 60/30 combo, 41.5"

Yeah, I've seen pictures, they do seem to be pretty bright. Are you happy with your purchase?

Thrilled. It cost me like 225 shipped. IIRC, i found it in the depths of amazon. 41.5" cree 3w leds etc.
I'd much rather have 1000 bucks than perfect optics.

Yeah and for $225 you get to be a cool kid like everyone else with a big light bar on your roof!
Nothing says come steal my shit like a good 40+" light bar.

What does this comment contribute to anyone's question?
Though, I do admit these are hard to make theft deterrent, but I think my solution was a good one. I JB welded some little black metal pipe caps over the bolts so you need heat or a grinder to get them off.
