I'm at a loss, I've been working at this for a few days and have nothing. I think my CD is missing software and/or it is loaded differently than this write up. Anyone willing to walk me through it? Is there a way to download what I need to make my Win8 laptop work? Thanks!

Were you able to get it working? I had no issues installing it on my W7 machine.

Can you get the seller to email you the latest software? Or you can find the software from my link above. It is V8.30.021. Download it and try again. If there is still a problem, contact the seller. I find the seller quite helpful.

ZOE, I think his issue is gonna be the Windows 8. I have not played around too much with W8 to know exactly the work arounds.

Worked on 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport
I just used your writeup to program a new key in my 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport. I have the Type G key and immobilizer. Went very smooth. I posted a link to this over at tacomaworld.com.
Thanks for a very detailed writeup!
Scott

There is a thread in rav4world about adding keys with techstream, thought it might also be helpful: Adding an extra key using Techstream! - Toyota RAV4 Forums

I'm about ready to uninstall v9.30, find v8.3 on-line somewhere & try that.
Great write-up, BTW.

What operating system you used? win7?
Techstream OS requirement: XP or “XP Mode” in Windows 7 (except win 7 home). A part of users use VMWare and XP Professional. Proved by many of us.
