Coolant leak solution, pepper, eggs or liquid aluminum stop leak?

My 92 3L 4Runner was on the short of anti-freeze and froze up. Usually once the engine warmed up it would open up but this time I drove a block too far and the rad busted along the bottom. Now my pocket is busted.
It's -10 outside, I don't have a garage so I got stealershiped by a Rad shop ($330) for an import rad.
Bad news is I still have a leak, don't know if it's my previous off&on coolant loss a brand new problem.
The rad shop guy said water pump was ok however coolant accumulates on a small horizontal spot below the timing belt cover. I would need to take the cover off to see where the leak was coming from, but it's still -10 & finger freezing cold.
Can this be the the water pump? Rad shop mentioned intake gasket (big money) any help? Should I look to a stop leak solution opposed to $900 for the intake gasket?

All of those things might work in an emergency to get you out of the boonies and back to where you can call a tow truck, but none are suitable for extending the life of a questionable cooling system any longer than is 100% necessary. You could end up needing to replace the entire motor.

-10 outside sucks, but that's what they make gloves for . Clean up the front of your motor, then get some UV dye and find your leak. That'll give you a better idea if it's something you feel like tackling yourself or if you want to let that shop bend you over a barrel again.

You don't know anybody that would let you borrow their garage or rent a shop bay for a couple hours?
