Buying a 4Runner
So I want a 4Runner (if you haven't noticed by my name yet). I'm currently looking at 4R's right now and I want a 5th gen, but I can't find one reasonably priced with low mileage, possibly <65k. Even though I know mileage doesn't really matter because they run forever. But I want something that'll be worth quite a bit if I want to trade later in life. I also like 4th gens and if I get a 4R that's probably what I'll get. (I'm fixing to get complicated) I want one but I know the gas mileage isn't the best even with a V6. If I get one, I'd also like to customize it (new headlights, lift, mud tires, maybe a roof-rack idk). So I want something with a low price, low mileage so I can put a few customizations on it. But recently I've figured out that finding what I want is actually quite hard. Because 4R's are so popular and once people buy them, they do not sell them. Which I guess is good—for them. Not for me. Any input would be appreciated.
Another note: I have test driven a Camry, 4Runner and a FJ Cruiser. I loved the FJ. It was fun to drive I loved it. But the price is out of the question. I loved the way the Camry drove, too. It was the SE Sport edition. The "Sport" adds new alloy wheels and a sunroof. If I can't find the right 4R for me I'll just get a Camry. But I would prefer a 4Runner
Anyway sorry for the long message.
