Radio wierdness solved ) Toyota's information for identifying radio head units is absolute garbage half the time and is very difficult to work with.
You're on that borderline year where EnTune was starting to become standard for vehicle so as was stated you either have a disk or a USB port to update with.
For all our new systems we have about a dozen USBs to choose from for the various head units we make, because as I stated in the thread I linked we have 4-5 different manufacturers who make the head units, then another half dozen variations of those units; all of which is no at all clearly explained by Toyota. As for having "One Guy who can update" I don't remember there being a requirement of technician to update a customer's system, but its possible that guy is the only one who knows how to wade through the BS that is their Update Chart.
