So I'm without a car right now due to my sister totaling my truck and I'm now looking for a new car and I'm looking at 4x4 4 runners. I've found a built 2003 limited 4runner for $10,500. It's everything I want. But it has 150,000 miles and I don't know if I should get it or not because of the miles.

Should I get it?

Normally 150k wouldn't seem like any big deal IF he has been following recommended maintenance. And well if it hasn't been pounded to heck off roading Would definitely check underneath to make sure nothing is bent or broken.

I am thinking that that year has a timing belt? If so that should have been replaced by now. If not you would have to replace it ASAP.

The price seems decent to me living in San Diego anyway, assuming the above...

This guy sums it up. Just know with all those modifications he's bound to have taken it off road. I don't know about pricing by you but seems decent enough. All I can say is buying it built will take away from the joy of getting to see your 4runner evolve with every mod you tackle. Plus you'll miss out on the beers you could share with members when wrenching together
