TRD PRO wheels center cap letter paint peeling!
So my brand new TRD PRO wheels are already having issues. I washed my truck yesterday and while I was washing the wheels I noticed the red paint on the center cap TRD logo peeling off.
I didn't pressure wash it or run it through an auto wash. Because of my rack I can't use auto washes.
I'm driving to the dealer on my lunch break to see what they'll do. I hope they replace the cap under warranty.

I spoke with the dealer and they're ordering me a new center cap under warranty. The parts manager stated that this is the first he's heard of this and that hopefully it's just a fluke.

Not a fluke. Mine is peeling worse than your pic.
Only the driver front, but pretty bad. Started after a couple weeks in the snow/ice, but still.
Not sure where to take mine, as I set up my purchase through a leasing company, so I guess I get to "pick" my dealer! They're gonna love me....

Wheel caps are the most neglected OEM part there is! The very first thing I did after buying my '99 was paint those caps.

They changed the process in mid summer. If you get a new one it will be different.

they should be ok in the oven on its lowest setting just leave the door cracked use a kitchen tool stuffed in the door hole to keep the door open. that plastic is pretty tough.

I was just about to order a set of these wheels. Does anyone have any idea how widespread of an issue this is? Not sure I'd get the same warranty support as someone with a vehicle they came on.

I'm curious about this too, considering that I just bought a set of these wheels. They've been on for less than a week, and I haven't done much driving, but now I'm concerned.
