Possible Film
Hey guys and gals,
I was chatting with a friend of mine (owner of TronRunner) and we were discussing the possibility of starting a film series here sometime in the future.
The series would consist of a few things:
1. Tech Talks
a.) Discussing different brands of lifts and their functions/practical uses.
b.) Discussing different brands/types of tires and their functions/uses.
c.) Discussing popular mods (airbox, VSC switch, lights, chops and cuts)
2. Off-Road Talks
a.) Discussing popular places and sights to see per state/region.
b.) Do's and Don'ts of "Off-Road Etiquette" (tread lightly, pack in, pack out)
c.) Telling user stories and experiences
3. Camping Gear Talks (very similar to the nutnfancy project)
a.) Discussing popular brands of clothing
b.) Discussing popular tents, pots, pans, utensils etc..
c.) Discussing tricks and tips to make out-door life a bit easier
4. Owner Documentaries & Stories (via user submission)
a.) Discussing who you are, where you come from
b.) Discussing what got you hooked on offroading
c.) Discussing why you picked Toyota for your rig/car
5. Submitted Q&A Discussion
Those are just a few things. He is big time into filming (I know you've seen his videos on Instagram) and I am breaking into the hobby. Personally, I restore vintage automobiles and off-roading is my hobby that I am studying quite a bit and starting to get out more and more and more.
I was also thinking about featuring a member on the forum every other week or once a month at the start of a video, just telling some background on the person, their rig, where they like to get out and go wheel (provides us here on the forums with a good introduction to the person and gives some "icons" to go meet up with and wheel along-side out in country), what they do for a living, and what they like about the hobby/lifestyle of wheeling their Toyota's.
The reason I am posting this on here is to get some feedback ahead of time from you all and see what you all would like to see IF we do begin to film and start a YouTube series about Toyota 4Runners, their specifications and modification options.
The videos should be about 20-30 minutes long per video and will consist of facts, and personal experiences with various products in various environments to help the common hobbyist or off-road enthusiast build their rig and camping "stash".
I've seen a few channels on YouTube that do similar things but with fire arms, survival techniques, or "life-hacks". I just think it would be cool to have something with 4Runners and camping gear combined.
WELL! Tell me what you think! There's plenty of time beforehand and it would be neat if some users could discuss what they would like to see in some videos and we can make it happen!
Happy wheelin' and have a great rest of your Sunday guys and gals.
