2015 Limited Shock Issue Question

New guy here with a 2015 Limited 4x4. Read on this forum about a leveling-lift kit. Asked my local 4WD shop and also called Daystar, everyone recommended the kit. Well, it turns out it seems to have the XREAS system.....

Car has 800 miles on it and before knowing what I was doing I began to remove the line from the first shock....bad idea. So, i let some fluid out of the front left shock and decided against it....again, bad idea.

I called Toyota and they said it's very expensive to service the system without just replacing all the shocks.

Am I doomed to have to do this replacement? Can the system be serviced? If it can, it doesn't seem like I can install the lift because the hydraulic line limits the ability to move the shock...

I probably have too many questions for answers, but any advise would be great.

Thanks for the time.

I think your best bet price wise is to pick up some 5100s. You can use the stock springs on those ( from what I've read).
That's what I plan to do for a basic lift. (With some rear lift springs, diff/sway bar drop.

What ever you plan to do. I wish you the best of luck!

There is a right way and a wrong way to work on the suspension. Being uninformed, you picked the wrong way. Not sure what the fix is but as suggested, posting on the 5th gen forum someone may be able to help you out.
