Dallas Fort Worth lift build help

I am looking to go all in and purchase the full Toytec 3 inch lift that is for the front and rear. I want to do this however I do not have a garage or the big enough tools to do this type of lift. I want to be part of the install and not afraid to learn from someone who has done this install in the past. I would be willing to pay for the time you put in too. Maybe along the way make some new off roading buddies. My idea on time would be in a month or two when it gets below 100 degrees. Appreciate any input. Justin. 2001 4runner 4wd. 3rd gen.

It's too bad you are not in the Houston area as I would be happy to help you out with my garage, tools and knowledge. Hopefully, a Dallas member will offer you the help that you require. That being said, doing a full suspension swap in August or September is going to be pure torture in this heat. You will not see 80's until October.

I'd be happy to help you install your lift, I have access to a full shop but idk if I'll be able to secure it for that time. But I do have the tools and space needed anyways it will just be a little more difficult. Ill see if @frostythe4runr can help as well

I was looking for the same but i have a 5th gen. I don't know if they are the same. but surely it will be in october when it cools down a bit. i'm in Sugar Land. and drive up to Dallas a couple times a year. good luck on your lift don't forget to take measurements from middle of hub cap to fender line to see how much lift you get.

the 5th gen is the same for the most part. the only difference is the sway bar.

do you know if you have to bend your inner fender to remove the uca long bolt?

on my 2011 tacoma i had to cut the bolt to remove it and install it backwards if i didn't want to bend the inner fender. i looked at my 4runners uca bolt and it looks like there is more room in there than the tacoma.

you dont have to bend it but just persuade it over about 1/8 of an inch or less and do the same for a small bracket on the fender aswell. nothing you couldnt do with a small pair of pliers and its barely noticeable.
