Tires tires tires Maxxis Trepador VS Goodyear MTR

Im trying to decide which tires to buy after the new year or when a deal pops up (black friday). Debating between the Goodyear MTR which ive run before or the new design Maxxis Trepador.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the Trepador's? Is one siped better than another in your opinion?

Keep in mind road noise, etc is not a factor as these are going to be at least 37X12.50-17 on my crawler/town truck.

Anything will be better than those Toyo 37s haha at least in the weight department. My 33 inch toyo at 2s are super heavy I cant even imagine 37s... Id go with the tried and true Goodyears until the new Maxxis design has been tested more.

Yeah these Toyo's are dead weight, not a big fan of them. I originally bought them only as rollers to help with the build, they have served their purpose.

I didnt consider waiting on the Maxxis tires due to unforeseen flaws in design. I think that is a great point. Anyone else?
