Insane motorcycle run from cop...

I find it hard to believe the cops in this are real... but I suppose it could happen

I guess the cop wouldn't tip the rider over from the side because he had not yet done the wheelie... but still... the rider here is really ballsy. Not only the run, but we all know there's probably a cop or 2 out there that would have shot him in the back after the first wheelie before the run.

But, that would be a really risky shot on such a time on the highway, and really it happened so fast, the cop didn't have much time to do anything.

*edit* -- I don't agree with the rider here. If he keep this stupidity up, this person is going to kill himself or others one day.

Haha. Did he purposely provoke the cop to chase him? Crazy I tell ya. As an avid motorcycle rider, no way would I roll through traffic that way.

Exactly, I watched it a bunch of times.

He saw the cop, slowed down so they are side by side... then wheelie'd.

Sirens on... then he let him catch up a little, gave him the finger and ran.

lol.

The Cop wanted him to do a wheelie, then tried to pull him over.

The cop was baiting him, that's why he shook his finger at the cop and then flipped him off.

So this rider definitely wins the ballsy contest.

All I see is stupidity and immaturity that is putting lives at risk. I am glad its crazy on a bike vs. a car where the most likely outcome of a crash is the rider biting the dust and not an innocent bystander.

No officer in there right mind would shoot someone for doing a wheelie on the highway and then speeding off. I would be far more worried about a pissed off bystander deciding to side swipe you weaving in and out of traffic. I am all for personal freedom and believe we should be able to do anything we want as long as it doesn't put the lives/freedom of others at risk.

I assume the rider had his plate covered otherwise there was plenty of time, if not grainy dash cam video to grab the plate and take it from there.

Sorry, not ranting at you but I disagree that society paints this in a "bad boy tough guy" image vs. the pure stupidity that it is. Bad boys are the men and women who purposely go into harms way to protect our freedoms (not saying I agree with overseas wars but that's for another day), nurses who go to work everyday working 12hr shifts to help people in the ER, and the every day man who get up at 3am goes to work comes home exhausted but still finds time to raise his kids and spend time with the wife.

Absolutely. I don't condone the rider at all. I am saying it is literally insane how they are risking their life and the lives of others in this stupid act.
